Make it in the North is bringing together Life Sciences and Biotech companies with international talent for an evening of networking drinks, inspiring conversations, and professional connections.
At Make it in the North we love connecting Dutch companies with international job seekers. That's why on Thursday June 4th we're organising networking drinks specifically for people and companies interested in the fields of:
Life Sciences
Healthy Ageing
MedTech
Biotech
and more!
If you're a company working in a field related to the life sciences & biotech sector this event is the perfect opportunity for you to meet international job seekers to present your company to them directly. Who knows, maybe if you have a great pitch you can convince the most talented people in the room to come work for you!
If you're a jobseeker who thinks you've got what it takes to work with one of these companies, we're very keen on having you join us on June 4th! You'll be able to have 1-on-1 conversations with companies, ask any burning questions you may have, and perhaps even try take the next step to get on board their recruitment process.
The event will take place at Space Werkcafé. Space Werkcafé is easily accessible but can be a bit tricky to find, so here’s a quick guide. Space Werkcafé shares its building with several life science companies in the Innovation Center for Chemistry and Engineering at Zernike Campus, located at Blauwborgje 31.
On Friday 27 November, the LIFE Cooperative is organising LIFE Compliance Day 2026. The day will be entirely dedicated to current compliance issues, knowledge-sharing and networking within our community on the topic of sustainability in medtech.
With more than 3,000 Life Sciences & Health R&D companies, 13 universities, 2,100+ ongoing clinical trials, 104,000+ employees, and an export value of €50 billion, the Netherlands is a major player in the European life sciences industry, boasting a strong technological position in areas such as human vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, and healthcare infrastructure. The Dutch sector owes this position to collaboration, cooperation, and coalition building between companies, research institutes, and universities.
LIFE Connect is an informal, exclusive networking event designed specifically for the members and partners of the LIFE cooperative. Hosted in a relaxed setting, LIFE Connect serves as a platform for discussing ALV (General Members Meeting) topics, while also offering short, insightful presentations from selected speakers and rounding up the afternoon with drinks and bites.
